Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets Canine UR Urinary is formulated to promote urine in the pH range to help dissolve urinary stones. It can also reduce the risk of stones reforming. When bladder stones form they irritate the bladder which causes pain and bleeding. If your dog suffers from urinary stones they will need to be removed, either surgically or by dissolving them with a specific diet.
Indications:
- Struvite stones combined with urinary tract infections
- Sterile struvite stones
Contraindications:
- Not suitable for dogs requiring a urine acidifier
- Not suitable for growing or pregnant dogs
- Dietetic dry food for adult dogs
- Combats urinary stones: controlled pH value to promote acidity in urine, reducing build up of struvite stones
- Adapted protein and magnesium content: adapted to the needs of dogs prone to urinary stones
- Moderate calorie content: supports weight management
- Delicious recipe: well accepted and digestible
- Suitable as a complete food for long-term feeding
Dog food which causes to urine to become more acidic may help to reduce the formation of struvite crystals and stones. Since not all lower urinary tract illness are associated struvite crystals it is important that your pet is diagnosed as suffering from struvite crystals before you feed your dog this dietary pet food.

Maize, wheat meal, dried poultry protein, rice, pork fat, maize protein meal, protein hydrolysate, dried beet pulp, dried egg, minerals, fish oil. Urine acidifying substances: calcium sulphate, phosphoric acid.

Vitamin A (30,000 IU), vitamin D3 (1000 IU), vitamin E (350 IU), ferrous sulphate monohydrate (170mg), calcium iodate anhydrous (2.7mg), cupric sulphate pentahydrate (18mg), manganous sulphate monohydrate (64mg), zinc sulphate monohydrate (160mg), sodium selenite (0.18mg).
